Today was Day 40.
I spent most of the day getting lectured to by a friend through facebook. Seems she read my blog (interestingly she doesn't appear in my twitter followers list but the tracker links suggest that at least one of you has been emailing the link around. Thanks, I think). She has some interesting views on the definition of "friend". For example she tried to explain that it is not the responsibility of friends to help you when you have problems. An interesting take on the definition of "friend"which I still choose to disagree with despite significant and growing evidence to the contrary.
The upshot of all this was that I spent another day getting wound up and stressed and running my head round in circles again rather than concentrating properly on work.
She was at least the first person to attempt to offer alternate solutions. None of them actually solve any of the issues I have but it was at least an attempt.
More successful was my afternoon trip to the solicitor. She says I have enough grounds to apply for an interdict and that based on what I told her she thinks it is likely to get granted. I have booked back in for a couple of weeks time so that the Club have time to come up with an alternative solution and save me the ~£1,000.
